Abstract:
This nickel-containing particle has a core particle including Ni, and a coating layer that is positioned on the surface of the particle and that includes at least one element from among Si, Al, Zr, and Sn. The nickel-containing particle has a shrinkage rate of 3.0% or less at 400°C and a shrinkage rate of 15.0% or less at 800°C in thermomechanical analysis in a nitrogen/hydrogen mixed atmosphere when heated from 25°C to 1000°C at a temperature increase rate of 10°C/min. In thermogravimetric analysis in an air atmosphere, the temperature of the nickel-containing particle when the mass thereof is increased 0.5% with respect to the mass thereof at 25°C is 250-350°C.
