Abstract:
A niobium-containing oxide powder represented by the general formula Ti1-x/2Nb2O7-x (x = 0-2), the niobium-containing oxide powder being characterized in that at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of Mo and Ce is present localized on the surface of the niobium-containing oxide particles constituting the niobium-containing oxide powder.
