Abstract:

The present invention relates to an nitrate radical-type hydrotalcite with photochromism and the process for preparing it. The present invention uses the layer-plate which contains divalent transition metal as subject, and incorporates object nitrate radical into interlamellar, thereby obtains hydrotalcite whose interlamellar anion is nitrate radical, its formula is [M²⁺1&lowbar _XM³⁺_X]NO₃^-_X • mH₂O; wherein 0.1 ≤ x ≤ 0.33,m=3-6. The hydrotalcite has photochromism, that is, when irradiated by ultraviolet light for a period of time, the hydrotalcite changes color, and the color comes back after heating, and the photothermal process is reversible. The process for preparing hydrotalcite comprise: alkali solution is added dropwise to the nitrate mixed solution which contains divalent and trivalent transition metal, then control the pH value of end point of titration, therefore obtains LDHs whose anion is nitrate radical.
