Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a node ring coupler for an endoscope inserting portion
with high manufacturing efficiency. In the method for manufacturing a node ring
coupler (22) for an endoscope inserting portion, a node ring coupler preparing
portion (66) having a plurality of node ring preparing portions (68) and at least
one coupling part preparing portion (70) is formed by punching on a sheet of elastic
plate material (45) such that the node ring coupler preparing portion (66) is
supported by a supporting portion (81) extending from the edge of the plate material
(45). At least a part of the coupling part preparing portion (70) is bent to intersect
a plane parallel with the plate material (45). The node ring coupler preparing
portion (66) is U-bent at least once in order to make it tubular, and the U-bent
node ring coupler preparing portion (66) is O-bent in order to make it tubular.
