Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To detect divergence of a coefficient of an adaptive filter without
setting in advance, a threshold value based on characteristics of a device or
an environment from which a noise is to be erased. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS]
A noise erasing device includes: a divergence coefficient calculation unit
(6) for obtaining a filter divergence coefficient from a filter coefficient
of a section not including a filter coefficient at the basic tap position decided
by the distance between a reference input unit (2) and an audio input unit (1);
a divergence threshold value calculation unit (7) for obtaining a filter divergence
threshold value from a filter coefficient of a section including the filter coefficient
at the basic tap position; and a divergence detection unit (8) for comparing the
filter divergence coefficient to the filter divergence threshold value so as
to detect the divergence condition of the adaptive filter. If the filter divergence
coefficient is smaller than the filter divergence threshold value, the divergence
detection unit (8) judges that the filter coefficient is not diverged. On the
contrary, if the filter divergence coefficient is greater than the filter divergence
threshold value, the divergence detection unit (8) judges that the filter coefficient
is diverged. According to this judgment result, the filter coefficient is initialized.
