Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to accurately specify a generation site in an MRI apparatus. Provided is a noise source search device to be used on an MRI apparatus for acquiring an NMR signal generated from a subject in a static magnetic field by applying an RF pulse effected by a high-frequency coil and a gradient field pulse effected by a gradient field coil to the subject, comprising: a reference antenna and a probe antenna for measuring noise which occurs in the MRI apparatus; a noise generation condition specification unit for specifying the axis and drive frequency of the gradient field coil as a noise generation condition of the MRI apparatus on the basis of the noise intensity of noise measured by the reference antenna; and a noise generation site specification unit for driving the gradient field coil in accordance with the noise generation condition specified by the noise generation condition specification unit and specifying a noise generation site in the MRI apparatus on the basis of the difference in measurement time between noise received by the reference antenna and noise received by the probe antenna disposed at a position different from that of the reference antenna.
