Abstract:
The present invention relates to noise-reduced wireless power transmission method and device. A wireless power transmitter according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an inverter; a transmission coil having one end connected to the inverter and the other end connected to a resonant capacitor; a sensor for measuring the intensity of a current flowing through the transmission coil; and a control unit for detecting an object placed on a charging area on the basis of the measured intensity of the current. If a power source is applied, transmission of a first signal for detecting the object is initiated, and the control unit can control such that the strength and/or the transmission period of the first signal changes in accordance with time elapsed until the object is detected. Therefore, the present invention can effectively prevent noise and loss of power in a standby state of the wireless power transmitter.
