Abstract:
The present invention provides a non-bitter-taste bitter gourd triterpenoid composition for inhibiting liver gluconeogenesis, the active ingredients thereof consisting primarily of Charantoside C and Momordicoside F1, the proportion by mass of said Charantoside C and Momordicoside F1 being 1:0.6–1.5. Also disclosed is an application of the described bitter gourd triterpenoid composition in the preparation of a health food having the effect of inhibiting liver gluconeogenesis.
