Abstract:
A non-combustion-type flavor inhaler (30) comprises: an accommodation part (310) in which a flavor stick (100) equipped with a flavor rod (110) and a mouthpiece (120) is accommodated in such a manner as to be capable of being inserted therein and extracted therefrom; first capacitance sensors (301, 302) which, when the flavor stick has been accommodated in the accommodation part, detect the capacitance of a place where at least the flavor rod is situated; second capacitance sensors (303, 304) which, when the flavor stick has been accommodated in the accommodation part, detect the capacitance of a place where at least the mouthpiece is situated; and a control unit which performs control on the operating state of the non-combustion-type flavor inhaler on the basis of the detection value provided by the first capacitance sensors and the detection value provided by the second capacitance sensors. Accordingly, a technique that enables highly accurate sensing of information regarding flavor sticks is provided.
