Title:
NON-CONTACT BEARING DEVICE USING SUPERCONDUCTING BEARING
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/093033
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A generation motor is formed by a motor stator attached to a housing side and a motor rotor fixed by a rotation shaft. A non-contact bearing device includes a permanent magnet repelling magnetism bearing for positioning and supporting an upper end of the rotation shaft of the motor rotor in a radial direction so as to support the rotation shaft, and a single superconducting bearing for stabling in the radial direction a din the axial direction. The superconducting bearing support the lower end of the rotation shaft. The superconducting bearing is formed by a permanent magnet fixed to the lower end outer circumferential surface of the rotation shaft so as to position the lower end of the rotation shaft in the radial direction and a superconductor attached to the housing so as to oppose to the permanent magnet. Furthermore, a permanent magnet magnetic bearing is provided for supporting the rotation shaft in the axial direction for floating.
