Claims:
Claim
1. A type of Storage Paint Roller comprising: A highly efficient, light weight, clean and nondrip storage paint roller. The roller allows the front cover to be dismantled easily, conveniently and it allows a nonleakage fit. A socket in the inside middle of the front cover allows a handle to lock into it when the handle is inserted into the shaft. The roller allows painting right up to the edge of rightangle corners without leaving a gap which would otherwise require touch up by a paintbrush. The roller is covered by one whole piece of replaceable sponge. ' A replaceable seamless cloth is wrapped round the main roller body. When it is used, it does not leave marks or traces on the surface.
2. A Storage Paint Roller as in claim 1 wherein an optional Ishaped handle can be fitted which allows easy and smooth arc movement for painting of an arc surface.
Description:
DESCRIPTION

Title Non-Drip Storage Paint Roller

Technical Field This new model of storage paint roller is for use in the construction, renovation, and self furnishing industries.

Background Art Presently, there are great disadvantages of a painting brush or the presently designed paint rollers such as inconvenience, leaking of the paint, too heavy so as to cause fatigue of the user. In the usual paint rollers, the is frequent dripping of the paint onto the floor surface. Further, the sponge/cloth is not a whole and seamless one which therefore cause unevenness and marks on the surface to be painted.

Present storage paint rollers only allows up and down straight line movement and painting an arc becomes clumsy. They do not allow painting right up to the edge of right-angle corners, leaving a gap which has to be touched up by a paintbrush.

Disclosure of Invention The new invention is a highly efficient, light weight, clean and non-drip storage paint roller.

The outstanding feature of the invention is that one side of the roller is designed with a taper angle which not only allows the front cover to be dismantled easily and conveniently, but it allows a non-leakage fit. A socket in the inside centre of the front cover allows a handle to lock into it when the handle is inserted into the shaft. This allows enhanced stability.

The invention allows painting right up to the edge of right-angle corners without leaving a gap which would otherwise require touch up by a paintbrush. The invention allows an I-shaped handle to be fitted which allows easy and smooth arc movement for painting of an arc surface.

The replaceable seamless cloth is sewn to wrap round the main roller body. When it is used, it does not leave marks or traces on the surface. There is no dripping of paint on the floor as the roller is covered by one whole piece of replaceable sponge.

The seamless cloth is inserted between the front cover and the main roller body with a sprung pressing it tightly, it is not easily peeled off. That makes it easy to wash clean or change the cloth.

Brief Description of the Drawings See Fig. 1. A storage paint roller, consisting of two parts i.e. a handle (4) and a storage cylinder (3).

The handle (4) is to be inserted into the hole of the shaft of the storage cylinder (3).

The main body of the storage cylinder (3) is covered with apiece of sponge (2), the sponge (2) is covered with apiece of seamless cloth (1).

See Fig. 2A. One side of the storage cylinder is tapered where the front cover (10) is inserted through the shaft (8) into this side to form a tight closure.

There is a pair of clips (12) inside the front cover (9A) which is used to hold the groove of the shaft (8) in position.

The other side of the main body is closed with the back-cover (6).

One side of the shaft (8) is permanently fixed on the inside, in the middle of the back-cover (6).

There is a ring clip (7) in the middle of the back cover (6) to hold the handle in position. There is a spring (11) between the storage cylinder (5) and the front cover (10) to hold the cloth in place.

The seamless cloth is inserted over the main body (5) and the spring (11) between the front cover (10) and the main body (5) is to ensure a tight fit

The other side of the seamless cloth is inserted between the back cover (6) and the main body (5) .

See Fig. 2B. The main body has slot holes which allow the paint to flow through the sponge and cloth.

See Fig. 3. The I-shape handle when attached to the main b;ody allows easy arc movement

Using the Invention After fitting the sponge (2) and cloth (1 ) over the main body (3), the back cover (6) is fitted into the main body. Fill the paint into the main storage roller body.

Subsequently, closed up the front cover (10). Push the middle front portion of the front cover (10) to clip onto the groove of the shaft (8).

The clip (12) of the front cover (9) will open and clip onto the groove of the shaft (8).

Insert the handle (4) into the shaft, the ring clip (7) inside the back cover (6) wuill hold the handle (4) in place.

Press the roller (3) on the wall surface and move, paint will sip through the cloth and evenly deposit the paint onto the wall surface.

To take out the front cover (10) for refill, press the side of the front cover (9B) to release the clip (12) so that the front cover can be detached from the main body.
