Abstract:
Disclosed are a non-insulated superconducting coil and a device for manufacturing the same. The coil comprises: a bobbin; a superconducting wire material having multiple adjoining-winding wire turns wound thereon and being disposed on the bobbin; and a conductive impregnation layer disposed between the multiple adjoining-winding wire turns of the superconducting wire material. The conductive impregnation layer has a resistance higher than that of the superconducting wire material and can conduct electricity between the multiple adjoining-winding wire turns of the superconducting wire material when a hotspot occurs due to a local defect in the superconducting wire material.
