Abstract:
Provided are: a high-strength non-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet having good fatigue characteristics suitable for a rotor core; and a non-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet having excellent magnetic characteristics suitable for a stator core. This non-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet has a component composition containing, in mass%, at most 0.01% of C, 2.0-5.0% of Si, 0.05-5.00% of Mn, at most 0.1% of P, at most 0.01% of S, at most 3.0% of Al, and at most 0.005% of N, Si and Al accounting for at least 4.5%, and the balance being Fe and incidental impurities. Concerning crystal grains in the steel sheet, the average crystal grain size X1 is at most 50 μm, the standard deviation S1 of the crystal grain size distribution satisfies S1/X1 < 0.75, and the skewness γ1 of the crystal grain size distribution is at most 2.00.
