Non-slip scissors for hairdressing and beauty culture, comprising substantially linear cut grooves which are formed in an edge thereof to a width not larger than a thickness of a predetermined hair, and which are arranged continuously along the edge of the scissors at predetermined intervals, the scissors being capable of providing an effect of preventing the slipping of hairs during hairdressing work, maintaining the non-hair-slipping condition after an edge polishing operation, providing an excellent, smooth scissors closing feeling during a scissors closing operation, and having the hair finished naturally as necessary, especially, in the case of cutting scissors; or non-slip scissors comprising cut grooves formed in an edge thereof to such a length that does not cause the cut grooves to project from a slide-friction surface of the scissors, and to a width larger than the thickness of a predetermined hair and smaller than two times the same thickness, the scissors being capable of cutting hair with the hair put in a slip preventing state in the cut grooves in the same manner as in the previously-described scissors, some hairs entering the cut grooves and being cut therein, the hairs cut in the cut grooves during this time coming off and falling from the cut grooves, so that the cut grooves are not clogged with the hair, this enabling a smooth scissors closing operation to be carried out, and the hair ends to be set linearly and reliably.
