Abstract:
Disclosed is a non-welding repair method for coiled tubing. Coiled tubing comprises a first tubing section (1) and a second tubing section (2). The non-welding repair method for coiled tubing comprises: S1, arranging a first connecting pipe (3) and a second connecting pipe (4) at the joint of a first tubing section and a second tubing section, wherein the first connecting pipe and the second connecting pipe are made of shape-memory alloy and are both in a deformed state; and S2, heating the first connecting pipe and the second connecting pipe to recover the shapes thereof. The connecting pipes made of the shape-memory alloy can achieve a sealed connection between the two tubing sections. Therefore, the method uses a simple structure, does not need a large welding apparatus, is convenient in construction, has a high reliability, and can effectively achieve the recycling of tubing. The method is not only suitable for coiled tubing made of conventional metal material, but is also suitable for coiled tubing made of non-metal material, composite metal, and corrosion-resistant alloy material with a high welding difficulty, but is also suitable for on-site repair operations of coiled tubing performed by a well team.
