Abstract:
Disclosed is a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising a positive electrode (4) wherein a positive electrode mixture layer containing a positive electrode active material and a binder is formed on a positive electrode collector, a negative electrode (5), a porous insulating layer (6) arranged between the positive electrode (4) and the negative electrode (5), and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution. The tensile elongation of the positive electrode (4) is not less than 3.0%. The binder is composed of a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and propylene hexafluoride.
