Abstract:
This nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery positive electrode includes a first particle and a second particle. The first particle is an electrochemically-active positive electrode active material, while the positive electrode active material comprises a lithium-containing transition metal oxide. The second particle is an electrochemically-inactive metal oxide, and has a BET specific surface area of 10-100 m2/g and a spheroidicity of 0.8 or more.
