Title:
NONAQUEOUS SECONDARY BATTERY BINDER AND LIQUID DISPERSION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/012990
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a binder used in an electrode layer or separator of a secondary lithium-ion battery, wherein the binder has little powder fall-off and, when used as a binder in an electrode layer, does not completely cover the surface of active material particles. The binder according to the present invention is a binder for a nonaqueous secondary battery and comprises aromatic polyamide fibrids, which swell but do not dissolve when an alkali metal salt and/or an alkali earth metal salt is present in an N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone solvent at a concentration of 1,000 ppm or less, and dissolve completely when the salt is present at a concentration of 10,000 ppm or more.
