Abstract:
An electrolyte is provided which makes it possible to improve charging/discharging cycle characteristics in a nonaqueous secondary battery that uses a lithium-free transition metal sulfide as the positive electrode active material. This nonaqueous secondary battery electrolyte for nonaqueous secondary battery that uses a lithium-free transition metal sulfide as the positive electrode active material, wherein the electrolyte contains: an organic solvent, which contains a chain carbonate compound; lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (LiTFSI); and an additive.
