Abstract:
This nonwoven fabric contains: a carbon fiber or a carbon fiber precursor (A) of which the average fiber diameter is 10 μm to 30 μm inclusive, the tensile strength (1) is 40 N/mm2 to 300 N/mm2 inclusive, and the elongation is 0% to 10% inclusive; and a fiber (B) of which the average fiber diameter is 5 μm to 30 μm inclusive, the tensile strength (2) is 200 N/mm2 to 600 N/mm2 inclusive, and the tensile strength (2) is greater than the tensile strength (1). The blending ratio ((A):(B)) of the carbon fiber or carbon fiber precursor (A) and the fiber (B) is 50:50 to 99:1 on a mass basis, the carbon fiber or carbon fiber precursor (A) is activated carbon fiber or infusible fiber, and the fiber (B) is a carbon fiber or a carbon fiber precursor.
