Abstract:
Disclosed is a norbornene compound having a sulfur atom, which can be produced by using a starting compound that can be synthesized readily and has a polymerizable double bond and a sulfur atom. The norbornene compound is represented by general formula (1) [wherein n represents an integer of 2 to 6]. Also disclosed is a process for producing the norbornene compound.
