Abstract:
Disclosed is a novel antischistosomal agent, more specifically a novel substance capable of inhibiting the proliferation of a schistosome in vivo to prevent the onset of a hepatic disorder caused by an egg of the schistosome when infected by the schistosome. The novel antischistosomal agent comprises a peroxide derivative represented by general formula (I) as an active ingredient. [In the formula, C represents an alicyclic hydrocarbon ring group which may be substituted; and n represents an integer of 1 to 6.]
