Abstract:
A novel breakaway switch comprising a base (1), a guiding frame (2) embedded on the base, a bimetal sheet (3) mounted at the guiding frame, and, mounted in the base, a movable spring piece (11) and a wiring terminal (12). The base is provided with an aluminum cover (4) for enclosing the bimetal sheet and the guiding frame in the base. An insulated actuating shaft (13) is also provided in the base. One extremity of the insulated actuating shaft is abutted against the movable spring piece, while the other extremity runs through the guiding frame to be abutted against the bimetal sheet. The wiring terminal runs through the bottom of the base. The wiring terminal comprises a movable terminal (121) and a static terminal (122). The movable terminal and the static terminal are arranged opposite. One extremity of the movable spring piece is fixed with the movable terminal, while the other extremity serves as a movable contact abutted against the static terminal. The novel breakaway switch has a simple structure, stable performance, and extended service life.
