Abstract:
As a compound exhibiting a high DPP-IV inhibiting activity or improved in safety, toxicity, etc., there are provided compounds, or their prodrugs, or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof, which compounds are represented by the formula: (I) wherein R1 is a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl, etc.; R2 is a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl, etc.; R3 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, etc.; R4 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, etc.; R5 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, etc.; and Y is, for example, a group of the formula: (A) wherein ml is 0, 1, 2 or 3; and with respect to R6, either is none absent, or one or two thereof are present and each independently represent a halogen atom, etc.
