Abstract:
Disclosed is a novel dry-type transformer, comprising a transformer body and a housing. The transformer body comprises coils; the housing is provided with a longitudinal ventilation channel, the transformer body is located in the ventilation channel, each coil is provided with longitudinal coil air channels, the housing is provided with an air inlet and an air outlet, both the air inlet and the air outlet are communicated with the ventilation channel, the air inlet is located below the transformer body, the air outlet is located above the transformer body, and the working temperature of the lower parts of the coils is higher than the working temperature of the upper parts of the coils. By means of the stack effect, an air flow is formed in the ventilation channel, and then the air flow passes through the longitudinal coil air channels in the coils, such that heat generated by the coils can be better taken away, the coils are rapidly cooled, and the heat dissipation capability of the transformer is improved.
