Abstract:
Disclosed is a compound which can be ingested in a sustained manner and has an activity to improve the vascular endothelial function through the enhancement of the activity of NO produced in vascular endothelial cells or the like. Specifically disclosed is a compound represented by formula (I) [wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 independently represent H or a gallate group] or a salt thereof.  Also disclosed is a vascular endothelial function improver, a food, a beverage or a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound.
