Title:
NOVEL FUEL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/150838
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a novel fuel which enables the reduction in environmental pollution capability of a fuel for heavy machines and can improve the performance of industrial machines such as diesel engines. Disclosed is a novel fuel prepared by adding a kinematic viscosity-controlling agent containing substantially no sulfur component, an exhaust gas-purifying agent, a lubricant agent, and a cetane value-improving agent to a heating oil. Specifically, the novel fuel is prepared using a kinematic viscosity-controlling agent having a density of 0.83 to 0.85 g/cm3 at 15˚C and a kinematic viscosity (100°C) of 2.4 to 7.6 mm2/s, and an exhaust gas-purifying agent that is prepared by mixing ethanol, a liquid paraffin, 1-butanol and a heating oil together at a ratio of 10:1:10:10 by volume to produce a solution A, mixing a heating oil with a liquid paraffin at a ratio of 8:1 by volume to produce a solution B, mixing the solution A with the solution B at a ratio of 15.5:4.5 by volume to produce a solution C, and mixing the solution C with a heating oil at a ratio of 10:1 by volume. The fuel has less adverse influence on the environment compared to light oils, and has good mileage. Also disclosed are a process for producing the fuel and use of the fuel.
