Abstract:

A novel graft copolymer which has polyether chains in branches and is usable as a base for solid electrolytes having high ionic conductivity; and a solid electrolyte comprising the graft copolymer and an electrolyte salt. The copolymer is characterized by having repeating units represented by the formula (I): (I) [wherein R₂ represents a functional group capable of having an active halogen atom at an end and X represents the formula (II)] and repeating units comprising a nonpolar moiety.
