Abstract:
The invention discloses a kind of novel human Rab protein (RABPA), polynucleotide encoding the polypeptide and a process for producing the polypeptide by recombinant method. It also discloses the method of applying the polypeptide for the treatment of AIDS and other acquired and genetic immune deficiency syndrome, neurodegeneration and viral diseases. The antagonist of the polypeptide and the therapeutic and prophylactic use of the same is also disclosed. In addition, it refers to the method of identifying Rabpa nucleic acid sequence and detecting RABPA polypeptide.
