Abstract:
A method by which a hydrous sample in a natural state is rapidly, efficiently, and inexpensively dried while maintaining the color and/or aroma thereof. The method for the rapid drying of a hydrous sample comprises surrounding the outer surface of the hydrous sample with a porous material having moisture permeability and hygroscopicity and irradiating it with microwave.
