The present invention provides: a novel one-body particle which is a particle for a positive electrode active material and comprises a core and a coating layer formed on at least a portion of the core, wherein the coating layer includes Co and a structure-stabilizing element, the core is present in a state of unaggregated primary particles, and the bond-dissociation energy (BDE) between the structure-stabilizing element and oxygen (O) is higher than the BDE between Co and O; and a method for preparing novel one-body powder comprising same.
