An antifouling polymer which has (i) at least one reactive group selected from the group consisting of carboxyl and salts thereof and hydroxy, epoxy, phosphate, alkoxysilane, imine, sulfo, amino, isocyanate, and blocked isocyanate groups and (ii) fluoroalkyl groups, in which the fluoroalkylated monomer as a component of the polymer has a melting point of 70 �C or higher, and which has a melting point of 50 �C or higher. The polymer has on a substrate after cleaning such a lasting effect that good water and oil repellency and good antifouling properties are maintained.
