The invention provides novel industrial processes for the production of peptide compounds (I). Specifically, a process for the production of peptide compounds of general formula (I) or salts thereof (wherein R?1¿ is lower alkyl; R?2¿ is lower alkyl; and R?3¿ is ar(lower)alkyl) by reacting a compound of general formula (II) or a reactive derivative formed therefrom by modification of the amino group or a salt thereof, with a compound of general formula (III) or a reactive derivative formed therefrom by modification of the carboxyl group or a salt thereof, and another process for the production of peptide compounds of general formula (I) or salts thereof, by reacting a compound of general formula (IV) or a reactive derivative formed therefrom by modification of the carboxyl group or a salt thereof, with a compound of general formula (V) or a reactive derivative formed therefrom by modification of the amino group or a salt thereof.
