Abstract:

A compound represented by the general formula (I): (I) (wherein R¹ means hydrogen, halogeno, cyano, lower alkyl, lower haloalkyl, hydroxy, lower alkoxy, or aralkyloxy; R² and R³ each independently means hydrogen, halogeno, or lower haloalkyl; and R⁴ and R⁵ each independently means hydrogen or halogeno) and the like. The compounds are useful as a therapeutic agent for various diseases in which NPY participates, e.g., overeating, obesity, and diabetes.
