Abstract:
A novel self-balancing exoskeleton robot, relating to the technical field of robots. The novel self-balancing exoskeleton robot comprises a back support control assembly (1), a hip joint assembly (2), a knee joint assembly (3), an ankle joint assembly (4), and a foot support assembly (5). The back support control assembly (1), the hip joint assembly (2), the knee joint assembly (3), the ankle joint assembly (4), and the foot support assembly (5) are sequentially connected. The hip joint assembly (2) achieves forward flexion/rearward extension of the hip joint, adduction/abduction of the hip joint, and internal/external rotation movement of the hip joint. The knee joint assembly (3) achieves forward flexion/rearward extension movement of the knee joint. The ankle joint assembly (4) achieves dorsiflexion/plantar flexion of the ankle joint and inward turning/outward turning movement of the ankle joint. The foot support assembly (5) is used for supporting a human body. The novel self-balancing exoskeleton robot is suitable for crowds having lower limb disability or both upper and lower limb disability of hemiplegia, lower limb paralysis, quadriplegia and other types, and assists a wearer to perform daily activity training such as standing, sitting, walking, lifting legs, and walking up and down stairs.
