Abstract:
A novel β-(trifluoromethyl)vinyldiaryl sulfonium salt represented by general formula (I), which can be used for simple syntheses of various useful compounds each containing a trifluoromethyl group, or the like.
(In formula (I), R1 and R2 each independently represents an aryl group, and an aromatic hydrocarbon constituting the aryl group may be substituted by a lower alkyl group, a lower haloalkyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a hydroxyl group or a halogen atom.)
