Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel thiourea derivative as an activator of RORα and a pharmaceutical composition comprising same. A compound according to the present invention is expected to be effective in the treatment and prevention of metabolic and inflammatory diseases through various in vivo functions of RORα, and is particularly expected to be useful for the treatment and prevention of metabolic diseases including liver fibrosis through inhibition of hepatic stellate cell activity.
