Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition which exhibits an excellent skin-whitening effect by binding a novel PTD (STeP) to a peptide having a known skin-whitening effect. The cosmetic composition can be obtained at a high purity, is not toxic and is thus safe, and exhibits excellent skin-whitening functionality, such as tyrosinase inhibition, DOPA oxidation activity inhibition, and melanin production inhibition, which are associated with skin-whitening, and thus can exhibit a far superior skin-whitening effect than conventional skin-whitening peptides. In addition, the cosmetic composition can exhibit excellent skin functionality together with other types of functional materials when actually applied to cosmetics.
