Abstract:
A casting device for upwards vertical continuous casting whereby a material to be cast is cast using molten metal raised upwards. The casting device is provided with a nozzle which is inserted into a second container portion to introduce molten metal. The nozzle is provided with a nozzle body having an introduction hole for introducing molten metal formed in a side surface thereof, and a flange portion formed under the introduction hole and protruding beyond the nozzle body.
