Abstract:
Provided is a nozzle plate having a nozzle hole for discharging droplets, wherein the nozzle hole has a first flow path and a second flow path disposed downstream of the first flow path with respect to the discharge direction of the droplets so as to communicate with the first flow path. In the first flow path, the cross-sectional area orthogonal to the discharge direction on the most upstream side of the discharge direction is greater than the cross-sectional area orthogonal to the discharge direction on the most downstream side, and the first flow path includes the center axis of the nozzle hole. In a cross section parallel to the discharge direction, the incline, with respect to the discharge direction, of a straight line joining the most upstream end and the most downstream end of the wall surface of the second flow path disposed on one side in relation to the center axis is less than the incline, with respect to the discharge direction, of a straight line joining the most upstream end and the most downstream end of the wall surface of the first flow path disposed on said one side, and the minimum cross-sectional area SA of the first flow path and the minimum cross-sectional area SB of the second flow path satisfy the relationship of formula (1).
