Abstract:
Provided are: a novel nucleating agent which can impart excellent transparency to synthetic resins; a synthetic-resin composition containing the nucleating agent; and a molded object of the synthetic-resin composition. The nucleating agent comprises one or more triazine compounds represented by general formula (1). In general formula (1), Ar1, Ar2, and Ar3 each independently represent an unsubstituted phenyl group or a substituted phenyl group. Preferred triazine compounds are, for example, ones represented by general formula (1) in which the substituted phenyl group has one substituent and ones represented by general formula (1) in which Ar1, Ar2, and Ar3 are different from each other.
