Title:
NUCLEIC ACID ANALYSIS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2006046144
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for analysing nucleic acid isolated from or in a biological sample, comprising the steps of hybridising to the nucleic acid(s) under desired conditions in solution a repertoire of identification oligonucleotides each of defined and different mass; capturing the nucleic acid onto a solid phase and washing off those members of the repertoire which are not hybridised to the nucleic acid with a desired affinity; and eluting the repertoire members which remain hybridised to nucleic acid after the washing step and analysing said members to resolve their mass and/or quantity.
