Abstract:
A machining operation generation unit 10, according to a machining program stored in a storage unit 11, analyzes the program and causes a machine tool 200 to execute a normal machining operation. After a cutting process of the machine tool 200 is completed, a chip removal operation generation unit 14 outputs, to an interpolation unit 15, a command to cause reverse rotation of a main shaft. The chip removal operation generation unit 14 causes the main shaft to reverse rotate for a prescribed period of time.
