The invention relates to mechanical engineering, more specifically to the machining of cylindrical parts made of steel, iron or non-ferrous metals in automatic operation mode and with different machine tool arrangements according to the sizes thereof and the masse of a machined part. The inventive machine tool comprises a bed, saddles and fixed tables. In order to select, for a specific part, the lathe arrangement which makes it possible to chose the motion along a processing chain ensuring the maximum performance and accuracy of machining, the machine tool is provided with mobile platforms mounted on the saddles and embodied in such a way that it makes it possible to arrange a spindle head or a tool holder, or an arm manipulator on each of them. Each mobile table is embodied in such a way that it is possible to arrange a feeding conveyor or the spindle head, or the arm-manipulator, or the tool holder thereon.
