Abstract:
Provided is a numerical value control device that controls electrical discharge machining, and that has: a program path creation unit that analyzes a machining program comprising a plurality of machining processes, including rough machining, semi-finishing machining, and final-finishing machining, and that creates a program path in each machining process; a machining condition storage unit that stores a plurality of machining conditions adapted to each machining process and at least one machining condition adapted to an unmachined portion; and a machining condition modification unit that, in cases in which the unmachined portion has been generated in a previous machining process, modifies the machining condition of the current machining process to the machining condition adapted to the unmachined portion.
