Abstract:
A nut tightening machine (10) having a detachable rechargeable battery attached thereto as a power source. This nut tightening machine (10) drives a built-in brushless DC motor by using power from the rechargeable battery and tightens hexagonal nuts on to a shear bolt. A battery case is provided around the rechargeable battery (B) attached to the nut tightening machine (10). A counter display (654) is provided in an upper surface section (82) of an upper case body (81) of this battery case. The counter display (654) has provided therein an inclined base section (68) that is inclined gradually towards the rear side. A primary tightening count is displayed on the display output unit (66) of the display (65). A user can ascertain the primary tightening count by looking at the number displayed on the display output unit (66).
