Abstract:
Provided is a nutrient solution that is to be supplied to a medium for plant cultivation and that can improve yields and increase the sugar content of plants. A nutrient solution that is for use in a medium for plant cultivation. The nutrient solution includes water, nitrate nitrogen and/or ammonia nitrogen, phosphoric acid, potassium oxide, and calcium oxide. Per 100 total parts by weight of the nitrate nitrogen and the ammonia nitrogen, there are 48–70 parts by weight of the phosphoric acid, 160–180 parts by weight of the potassium oxide, and 30–85 parts by weight of the calcium oxide.
