Abstract:
The present invention relates to a nutritional composition for use in a formula food product, wherein the nutritional composition comprises or consists of the following: (1) compound vitamins, which comprise vitamin A, which is partly or wholly derived from retinyl palmitate; vitamin E, which is partly or wholly derived from d-α-tocopheryl acetate and/or d-α-tocopherol; and vitamin B1, which is partly or wholly derived from thiamine hydrochloride; (2) compound minerals, which comprise iron, which is partly or wholly derived from ferrous gluconate; and zinc, which is partly or wholly derived from zinc gluconate and/or zinc citrate; and (3) calcium citrate. The present invention further relates to a formula food product containing the nutritional composition, and the non-therapeutic use of the nutritional composition or formula food product for enhancing the immunity of the body and improving the bioavailability of trace elements.
