Abstract:
The present invention relates to an on-board diagnostics (OBD) hub device which is connected to an OBD, which is a diagnosis and monitoring system of an engine control system of a vehicle and the like, such that a device (external device such as smartphones) can receive diagnosis and monitoring information from an OBD terminal, and, particularly, when another device (a vehicle diagnostic device (OBD terminal) of a service center and the like) is connected to the OBD terminal for a maintenance purpose and the like, electrically connects the another device to the OBD terminal without releasing the connection between the device and the OBD terminal. The present invention comprises: a body having a first opening on one side and a second opening on the other side; a connecting terminal equipped in the body and disposed toward the first opening, and connecting to an OBD terminal provided in a vehicle; a communication module provided on the body and connected to the connecting terminal, and for receiving diagnosis and monitoring information from the OBD terminal and transmitting same to an external device; and an accommodation terminal equipped in the body and disposed toward the second opening, and connecting to the connecting terminal.
