Abstract:
An object detection device (10) detects objects that travel in the vicinity of the object detection device (10). The object detection device (10) comprises: an information acquisition unit (11) that obtains object speed values being at least either the speed or the acceleration of the object, in a horizontal direction being a direction orthogonal to a prescribed direction in the vicinity of the object detection device; and an upper limit setting unit (17) that sets an upper limit for the object speed values, on the basis of angle information, said angle information being a relationship indicating the angle of the travel direction of the object relative to the prescribed direction.
